What is the Student Portal

The Student Portal is an online system used by students to manage and track their clinical assessment activities during hospital rotations.

It provides a central place to record clinical experiences, request feedback from preceptors, and monitor progress throughout each rotation.

Within the portal, students interact with several key components:

  • Rotations
A rotation represents a clinical placement or assignment at a specific hospital or department where you gain practical experience.
  • Preceptors
Preceptors are supervising clinicians who observe your work and provide assessments and feedback on your performance.
  • Assessments
Assessments are formal evaluations of your clinical skills and performance. These may be requested after working with a preceptor or completed at specific points during a rotation.
  • Patient Logs
Patient logs are records of clinical encounters that you document as part of your training.

The Student Portal is designed to support your learning by making it easy to document your work, request feedback, and stay on track with your assessment requirements.
